Tape-In Hair Extensions

There are numerous benefits of using Tape-Ins which explains why they are in high demand and the most commonly used method. They are the most popular method for the seamless blending with the client’s hair and are easily installed and can be used to create volume, length and beautiful colour blends.

Luxx provides two different types of tapes known as Invisible Tapes and Standard Tapes. Some salons may recommend a combination of both types depending on the client’s desired look, natural hair and budget.

Invisible tapes are created so that the top of the tape is covered in hair making it difficult or near impossible to differentiate from the client’s own hair.

Seamless tapes hair extensions tend to be easier to conceal as they lay flat to your head and is the most commonly used method. They’re also super lightweight so they’re comfortable to wear and won’t weigh down your locks.

The method is simple and requires a stylist to attach the tape to a thin 3cm section of hair using hyper allergenic tapes while attaching another tape to create a sandwich with your own hair between the two extensions.

Tape-in’s are comfortable as they do not put pressure on the scalp and allow the client to wear their hair as naturally as they normally do including being able to tie the hair up.
