Keratin Hair Extensions

Keratin Hair Extensions go by multiple names and are also commonly referred to as U-tip, Nail-tip, Hot-fusion and pre-bonded extensions. Keratin extensions are made from very thin strands of hair bonded together.

Keratin extensions are good for short hair styles as you can bond them high up and extremely close to the root. Keratin bonds create volume and or length especially when working with shorter and or finer hair literally take your client from a bob cut to a waist length goddess.

The upside of Keratin bonds is that it allows the client to comfortably wear a variety of styles including a variety of updo’s based on the individual strands that can be difficult to achieve using other methods.

The strand of extension is then added to a small section of the client’s own hair and melted together with heat. The composition of our natural hair is actually 90% Keratin so using Keratin (especially so close to the scalp).
